Q. - Why is there an annual fee?
A. - With SGIS 3.X, the GIS platform is ESRI.  With this platform AGCO Global Technologies provides upgrades and the annual fee is for those upgrades.

Q. - What is my Dealer ID number?
A. - Your Dealer ID is the six digit number that is entered into SGIS at the Service Provider level.  This six digit number is also entered into the Falcon that is going to be running the provided maps.  This creates a protection of information for the service provider.

Q. - How do I protect my data and perform a backup?
A. - In SGIS, click on View and Preferences.  Under the heading Settings, click on Database.  At this point, you may choose how often you wish to backup your database.  When SGIS is scheduled to be backed up, when the user exits SGIS, the user will be prompted to back up the SGIS database and where you wish that back up to be stored.  It is also recommended to make two copies of the back up.  Keep one copy on site and take the second copy off site.

Q. - What is a MCID number?
A. - This is your identification for your account with AGCO Global Technologies.  The number is located in your Subscription Manager.

Q. - How can I get after hours support?
A. - If you call the helpline after hours and get the voice mail message, please leave a message.  Once a message is left, a mobile phone is paged and technical support will return your phone call.
