Creating a Fertiliser Recommendation

The main benefit of creating a fertiliser recommendation in SGIS is the ability of the user to fully utilise the local knowledge and expertise of agronomists and growers.

While the basics of agronomy are the same "across the board," local weather conditions, management practices, etc. affect how crop production is managed.  SGIS's ProX enables the user to implement any or all of that local information.

ProX - Importing/Exporting Equations

One key component of SGIS's ProX is the ability to import information into the program for "ready" use.  This capability is available through *.xml technology.
An SGIS user can create a product, recommendation or analysis output and export that information in an *.xml format.  That file can then be posted on a company website giving access to other users, or e-mailed direct to others.

By making an equation available to other users, the risks of mistakes on equation creation are reduced (particularly important on chemical recommendations) and the "set up" time of the user is reduced.  This creates more efficient use of time and personnel resources for the business.

Features and Benefits

Creating Equations
The organisation of the ProX Equations tab creates equation catalogs, sets and the actual equation, allowing the user to organise the equations by location or by individual customer, for efficient creation and use.
