An international team from the AGCO Advanced Technology Solutions group were present at the annual CEREALS show in the UK this year.  Thousands of people attended, and many made their way to the Advanced Technology Solutions area of the AGCO stand to keep themselves up-to-date with the latest developments in precision farming technology.

Technologies on show were the GTA Console I available on Massey Ferguson tractors, the GTA Software suite for a range of activities from record keeping to mapping, and the Auto-Guide automatic steering system with the new European RTK base station for incredible accuracy.

Visitors to the stand could see first hand just how simply information can be transferred from a machine to an office PC, then recorded, processed and analysed using the various software packages offered within the GTA suite.

Many visitors were also impressed by the demo plot where AGCO Advanced Technology Solutions worked with a Challenger tracked tractor fitted with Auto-Guide to demonstrate the fantastic accuracy provided by the new RTK base station.  This can be seen clearly on the image shown here – incredible straight lines with practically no overlap (or underlap).
